Groups Tasmania
The Organisers of the Nationals has appointed Groups Tasmania as our agents for all travel and accomodation Enquiries. You can contact or make bookings through Groups Tasmania by either phoning 1800 462 827 or by visiting their website. Note that, while there are a number of hotels in the city centre, the Easter period is a fairly heavy period of tourism, with many hotels normally reporting 90% utilisation. Groups Tasmania advised it would probably be necessary to accomodate some late-booking bands on the Eastern Shore, so early booking is recommended.
Air and Sea Travel
Hobart Airport has daily flights into Hobart from four different airlines. Please visit here to find out more.
The Spirit of Tasmania is a great way to pack the car or band trailer with tubas to avoid those excess baggage charges! Check out the website here, but remember to book through Groups Tasmania.
